The Sportshall Competition Speed Bounce Mat is a piece of indoor athletics equipment designed for schools, athletics clubs and organisers delivering Sportshall Athletics competitions and indoor athletics events.
Children perform fast, two-footed side-to-side jumps over a 200mm extended foam wedge, aiming to complete as many jumps as possible within a set time. It’s a simple but effective athletics activity that develops speed, agility and coordination while building key movement skills within children.
What’s the difference between the Standard Speed Bounce Mat and Competition Speed Bounce Mat?
The Competition Speed Bounce includes a larger 2m x 1m x 32mm base mat and an extended 200mm foam wedge. The design create a clearly defined competition area, improve stability underfoot and encourages athletes to jump over the wedge rather than around the wedge, for more accurate scoring.
Used in England Athletics endorsed Sportshall Athletics competitions, it’s quick to set up, easy to teach and suitable for a wide range of age groups.
